MECHANICSBURG, PA | Modjeski and Masters, a bridge engineering firm responsible for the design of many of our nation’s iconic bridges, recently announced the promotion of four of its employees. Cullen Ledet, PE, Stacey Carr, PE, Joe Strenkowski, PE have been promoted to Associate and Mike Januszkiewicz, PE has been promoted to Senior Associate. They will contribute to the firm’s internal leadership, helping to build Modjeski and Masters’ continued recognition as a worldwide leader in bridge design.

Cullen Ledet, PE has been employed by the Modjeski and Masters, Inc. New Orleans, LA office since 2002, after having interned two summers with the firm. During this period, he has engaged in the design of both fixed and movable highway and railroad bridges. Mr. Ledet prepared designs, plans, and specifications for a number of projects both for improvements, as well as complex projects. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Louisiana and received the 2011 ASCE New Orleans Branch Outstanding Young Civil Engineer award. His notable project experience includes: the Huey P. Long Bridge Widening, Galveston Causeway Railroad Bridge Replacement, Red River at Grand Ecore Bridge Re-decking, and the EJ&E Railway Co. Illinois River Bridge Replacement.

Stacey Carr, PE has been employed by the Modjeski and Masters, Inc. New Orleans, LA office since 1991. She has been extensively involved in the design, rating and strengthening of bridge structures. Ms. Carr works on projects from the design phase, plan preparation, and specification development through the construction phase and works closely with clients and contractors. She oversees design and rating projects and assists in training entry level engineers. Ms. Carr is a registered Professional Engineer in Louisiana and is a member of the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC). Her notable project experience includes: the Huey P. Long Bridge Widening and Rating, U.S. 190 Mississippi River Bridge (Baton Rouge) Rating and Repair, On-System State (LA) Bridges Rating and Posting, and multiple complex railroad and highway structures rating projects.

Joseph Strenkoski, PE has been employed by the Modjeski and Masters, Inc. Mechanicsburg, PA office since 2013. He has more than 27 years of experience in the electrical engineering consulting field including over a decade of project management work and almost two decades of electrical group management. Mr. Strenkoski has multi-discipline and multi-project management exposure including in-house coordination of civil, structural, and mechanical/electrical efforts, as well as relating with clients and consultants. His responsibilities also include client relationship development and retention. Mr. Strenkoski is a registered Professional Engineer in Idaho, Louisiana, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, and carries a verified engineering record with NCEES. His notable project experience includes: Joliet Bascule Bridge Automation, Paulsboro Bridge Replacement, Lapalco Bridge Repairs, Route 79/195 Interchange project, and Veteran’s Memorial Bridge Lift Repairs.

Michael Januszkiewicz, PE is currently working in the field services section of the Modjeski and Masters, Inc. Poughkeepsie, NY office. He has more than 27 years of experience in bridge design, construction inspection and condition inspection. In addition to his normal duties, he is also the Technical & Rope Access Program Coordinator and Technical & Rope Access Climbing Instructor for specialized climbing/rappelling inspection and high-angle rescue. Mr. Januszkiewicz is trained in various methods of non-destructive testing including: dye-penetrant, magnetic-particle and ultrasonic material testing, and is certified for Level 2 UT Pin inspection having inspected more than 700 pins ultrasonically. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Pennsylvania. His notable project experience includes: NYSBA Bridge Inspections, MDTA Bridge Inspections, Blue Water Bridges Inspections, Green Bank Telescope Inspections, Goethals Bridge Inspections, and Ogdensburg Bridge Inspections.
