Hiring Process

Once you submit your application, it will be screened for basic requirements such as education and experience. 

Our recruiting coordinator performs a basic prequalification screening, including: is your degree from an ABET-accredited university or college? Do you have relevant bridge design experience or coursework?  

If you meet those requirements, the local hiring office reviews your application and collects any necessary additional information from you. 

For those moving onto the interview phase, you will hear from our recruiting coordinator to schedule a first interview. This initial interview typically takes place via phone or Teams. Pending success on an initial interview, you may be asked for a follow-up virtual interview or an in-person interview to meet the full team. If you apply for more than one job, it is possible you could participate in several small interviews, or one large interview with hiring managers from each position.

After your interviews are complete and, together, we feel like you are a good fit, you receive an offer. Our offer letters contain your hourly rate/salary, and a summary of Employer Benefits including the bonus plan, retirement package, vacation days, and more. All applications are saved for one year. 

You will work with our hiring manager to set a start day and review important deadlines. 

Prior to beginning your employment with Modjeski and Masters, you will complete a background check, a drug screening, and your onboarding employee packet.
