Blaise Blabac Promoted to Vice President
Modjeski and Masters, Inc. (M&M) is pleased to announce the appointment of Blaise Blabac, PE to Vice President.
Working from Modjeski and Masters’ Poughkeepsie office since 2003, Mr. Blaise Blabac currently serves as the Assistant Regional Director of the New York Business Unit. He has been involved in the design and rehabilitation of numerous bridges in the New York metro area and throughout the nation, specializing in long-span structures including suspension bridges.
"I have always taken inspiration from Modjeski and Masters’ strong tradition of excellence and leadership in the field of bridge engineering. I’m honored to be entrusted with carrying on this tradition and excited to explore future possibilities to help ensure this legacy continues," said Blaise.

- RK-23A – Rehabilitation of the Manhattan Approach Ramps to the RFK Bridge (TBTA)
"Blaise lives and breathes bridge engineering and has a passion for the industry and its history. It is through this passion, but also perseverance and hard work, that he has steadily become more well-known in the bridge engineering community," said Vice President and New York Regional Director Quentin Johnson. "Blaise continues to be an excellent mentor to the engineering staff who work on his projects, and he is always looking for opportunities for staff to expand their capabilities and to get them in front of clients. I look forward to his growing leadership not only in the NY Office, but also across the entire firm."
Mr. Blabac earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in civil engineering from the University of Buffalo and is a member of the American Institute of Steel Construction, the American Society of Civil Engineers, and serves on the Transportation Research Board Steel Bridge Committee (AKB20).
